SC Supreme Court Reverses Verdict in McMillan v. Oconee Memorial
Represented a party in McMillan v. Oconee Memorial Hospital (S.C. 2006), involving complex healthcare litigation issues.
Successfully represented a hospital sued by ta physician on the medical staff who sued the hospital for conspiring to deprive the physician of an exclusive contract to provide anestesiology services at thte hospital. The South Carolina Supreme Court held that a hospital cannot conspire with itself and reversed a multimillion dollar verdict against the hospital.
