Our History
Founded in January 2002, Cassidy Coates Price, P.A. began as Roe Cassidy Coates & Price with a simple but enduring commitment to client service. From the beginning, the firm was designed as a small law firm engaged in a large firm practice—providing sophisticated legal counsel while remaining responsive, practical, and deeply invested in client relationships. Today, the firm’s attorneys represent clients across a wide range of matters, including litigation, real estate, and business and corporate law.
Throughout the firm’s history, its approach has remained consistent: understanding the industries in which clients operate, appreciating their business objectives, and delivering tailored legal advice grounded in real‑world experience. Clients are not seeking generic answers, and the firm strives to provide thoughtful, effective solutions based on each client’s specific circumstances and goals. The firm’s growth has been shaped by a deliberate focus on continuity and leadership development. In 2018, Ross Plyler joined the firm and quickly advanced to partnership. In 2023, the firm rebranded as Cassidy Coates Price, P.A., a name that reflects both its legacy and guiding principles.
Today, Cassidy Coates Price is led by Amber Glidewell, Trey Suggs, and Ross Plyler. They are supported by the historic founders of the firm, as well as a strong and growing group of associate attorneys who represent the next generation of firm leadership. Together, the firm continues to uphold the principles upon which it was founded—listening carefully, responding thoughtfully, and delivering high‑quality legal representation with integrity, collaboration, and care.
