Roni Payne is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice, focusing on medical malpractice defense, commercial litigation, and employment law. She brings a combination of litigation experience and employment law insight to her work, providing practical guidance and effective advocacy across a range of matters.

Roni represents clients in litigation matters involving professional liability, business disputes, and employment-related claims. She approaches each matter with a focus on understanding client objectives, developing clear strategies, and navigating disputes efficiently.

Roni earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she served as Student Works Editor of the South Carolina Law Review, participated in the Mock Trial Bar, and represented clients in the Veterans Legal Clinic. She graduated magna cum laude from Furman University with a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Affairs, where she was a member of the softball team and received multiple academic honors.

Outside of her practice, Roni is dedicated to promoting athletic inclusion for children with physical and mental disabilities and volunteers with organizations including Mauldin Miracle League, Buddy Walk, Extra Special People, and Special Olympics.
