Cassidy Coates Price, P.A. is thrilled to announce that William A. “Bill” Coates has been recognized in the South Carolina Lawyers Weekly 2024 Power List for Commercial Litigation.
With over forty years of trial experience, Bill handles a wide array of litigation cases, including commercial, corporate, financial, real estate, health care, and environmental disputes. A former federal prosecutor, he also manages governmental investigations and white-collar criminal defense, as well as elections and ethics-related matters.
Bill is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and has served in numerous prominent roles, including president of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association and chair of the South Carolina Bar’s Judicial Qualifications Committee. His current positions include serving on the Board of Directors for the South Carolina State Ports Authority and as a master in the Haynsworth/Perry Inn of Court.
Bill’s numerous accolades, including the Order of the Palmetto and the Robert W. Hemphill Award, underscore his dedication to the legal profession and public service.
